How “Way True Life” started?
One day-Date 4th June 1994 when Dr.RAJU A. RAM (MSW, PhD,B. Ed, LLB) Founder-President /Director & Chief Functionary was coming from Kalwa to Kalyan that time He had seen street children in the local train. They get down at Kalyan station and went on the platform. He was wondering how they stay? Where they stay? So many questions came in his mind.
One day he planned he will go in their slum area and visit them, talk with them about their life. He went their and first time he had seen the platform children and their living style, their needs from very close. He was very upset that time again lots of questions came in his mind. How they stay? Do they need any help to improve and change in their life?
For a movement he sat and think about Street, poor, unprivileged Children life. That time he decided from bottom of his heart that I need to help them he donated cloths and food (nutrition) to street children.
He visited again spend more time with children and donated his own cloths and food to them. It become a part of his life and continuously his doing good things for Street children. In slum community connected to Railway station there many children never went to school, some of them left school in middle. Suddenly he realize after visit he was more attached with this people and children. First he use to visit once in a week but after some time He felt they need more help, encouragement, guidance and main thing was his company. Then he started to visit everyday. In 1996 monsoon time he started visiting everyday and teaching to them. First he started our balwadi under the tree. He didn’t have any financial, moral support but still he was working there.

In 2003, He got married with Adv. Mrs: SHILPA R. RAM (MA. / MA.LLB). She is Founder Trustee also joined this work. He was glad at least he got one more partner to serve the poor Street Children and people. They happily run this Balwadi (Pre School) in the slum community. They wanted to have some kind of place for Balwadi (Pre school) in the slum community then can’t be distract with other thing. First time they bought some sack and built Balwadi (Pre School) in the slum community out of that. That was the real achievement for them for that time. Street Children started going in to school, drop of children also started school again.
It was time to give shape to the work under government. They try to do registration of this work so in 2005 they done registration of this organization. Work was growing day by day. They noticed that some changes came into their life. Day after day they become very busy in his professional work and family and his own child they can’t able to focus on the work that time they decided should appoint one staff. So he can look after all responsibilities in their absence. They appointed one staff. That time we struggled because of they had to pay the staff salary, snacks for children and other stationary, place rent other expenses all expense was going from their salary. They both work at different place earn money they spend for Balwadi (Pre school) expense. After one year they start another project in slum for Child & Woman, community Health Development. They took more staff so now WTL organization work is going effectively.
